The ClotPro system uses established cup and pin technology, supported by the principle of thromboelastography, to measure whole blood clot formation. During coagulation, the blood adheres onto the surfaces of the cup and pin and the mechanical strength of the blood clot is continuously determined.

In addition to standard assays, the ClotPro system provides tests for the detection of DOACs and antifibrinolytic agents.

ClotPro offers 8 CE marked tests: established screening assays (EX-test, FIB-test, AP-test, IN-test, HI-test), new assays for drug monitoring (RVV-test, ECA-test, TPA-test) and a RUO assay (NA-test).

Active Tip™ Technology

Watch the Video

The Active Tip technology is designed to eliminate reagent handling on the ClotPro analyser. During pipetting of the blood sample, the reagents are automatically mixed to the blood – simply and safely. Each Active Tip comes individually sealed with room temperature stability, preventing any reagent wastage.
